02 entender on Nissan 2005 4L
Mike, I took your advice on my 2005 nissan 4L engine that I sent you the wiring diagram on. I have driven over 600 miles after extending both 02 sensors before the cat like you said to do. I am still only getting 17mpg. I have a HHO generator on order from ken smith off of ebay. Nice guy, I talked to him on the phone. Anyway, you said I don't have to install an EFIE switch. Do you have anymore advice? Pat

I bought the extender, extender socket and reservoir from Ken.

Please keep us posted how it works for you.

I don't really expect mileage to improve using extenders by themselves. They are for use with our HHO unit, to offset the added oxygen in the exhaust.

The 02 socket wrench works great at $10. The one at NAPA is $28. I would never get these things out without the wrench. The biggest problem is getting to the 02 sensors. Heat shields have to be removed and there is not really any clearance to remove and install. A real knuckle buster. The HHO generator is coming this week and will install. Pat

Forgive my rudeness Pat, but can I ask how many thousands you paid for that? I see one for $340 and still 4 days left. Confused I like the design.

You can find that unit by going to their site at: http://www.shop.hydrofuelsolutions.com/p...roductId=2

They go for $589.00 there.

Thats the one I ordered. It does not sell for $340 on ebay, it always goes for 389 or more, the seller has a reserve. It is going for $365 as I write this. There is a larger one for $589 as Mike says, but I ordered the smaller one. The quality seems pretty nice. Pat

I didn't know they had two sizes, but I think I need 2 sizes for my brother in law (small car) and my wife (4Runner SUV).
