07 Subaru Forester 2.5X ... EFIE control?
Hey guys, Glad to find this forum!
Planning to add HHO boost to my 07 Subaru Forester 2.5X. Got my service manual CD and a Scangauage.

Under the hood a front O2 sensor just upstream of the front cat-C and a rear O2 sensor a couple feet upstream of the rear cat-C. Both are 4-wire.

The manual describes a "front oxygen A/F sensor" (attachments) says at engine idle, front sensor + and - signal wires range between 2.35V and 2.9V.

Third attach is a clip from the 06 Forester service manual CD (I bought early in 07 because I couldn't yet find the 07 Forester CD).
I think Subaru didn't change the O2 sensor on the 07 Forester from the 06 model, tho I haven't been able to get my Subaru dealer to confirm that.
It describes the function of the "front A/F sensor" that sounds like a narrow band one.

'.. difference in oxygen concentration changes drastically in the vicinity of the stoich AFR.. hence change in (V) is also large'

Think this is an old school narrow band sensor, controllable by EFIE?

Sorry, old school narrow band sensor varies between 0 and 1 volts. Hmm
