2007 Cheverolet Avalanche 6.0 O2 Sensors????
I have a 2007 Cheverolet Avalanche 6.0 liter engine. My O2 sensor has four wires, so I am trying to determine if it is narrow band or an AFR. I checked the Autozone link, no luck and Haynes wants $25 for late model repair manuals, too much just to answer one simple question. Any other ideas how I can determine what kind of sensor I have?

I am working on an 04 Tahoe and have 4 wires also. blue, white and 2 black. I have it narrowed down to the Blue and White because 1 black is 12v and the other is 0v. According to the mechanic at chevy who I have known for years he says that they are not AF sensors and that the Blue is the signal wire. I will know for sure because I am installing a Duel EFIE Wed or Thurs night.

Both of you guys put a volt meter on the wire you think is correct. If so, your volt meter will "hunt" from .1-.9V

Thanks for the tip, I wasnt real confident of my test because I couldnt get a steady reading from my white wire. Probably had a bad ground. Yes, I will test the blue like you described to verify.
