AFR and O2, Difference? Different EFIE?

This page explains that there is a difference between AFR and O2, and that you need different configurations or something for the EFIE. Is the EFIE described in the Advanced EFIE Design page able to handle both types of sensors?

RE: AFR and O2, Difference? Different EFIE?
No. All EFIEs talked about in this forum were designed for O2 sensors. However, there is a thread where it appears that a successful use of an EFIE on a wideband sensor (AFR) has occurred. Please see http://fuel-saver.org/showthread.php?tid=712. You might want to skip to the last 2 pages.

I know a little about their optimizer, enough to know that they have an EFIE circuit in there, along with some other stuff to tune some of the other sensors. It's kind of a swiss army knife for sensor handlings. As far as I know they don't sell it by itself, but comes as part of a hydro assist system.

I plan to offer a similar device as soon as I can make time to develop it. But it will mostly be a device to assist people in applying Tuning For Mileage.
