Cell cleaning
After dissassembly and cleaning of my dry cell I bead blast the plates,rinse in distilled water and whipe with alchohol do I need to recondition or can I reassemble and fire it up.

1999 Honda Civic Lx.
1.6 liter
21 plate 4"x4" dry cell
single efie
1 lpm @ 19 amps
NaOH electrolyte

Get the pdf about hydroxy generators on panacea university. look up for "plate conditioning"

I have conditioned my plates when the cell was new. Do I have to condition them again after cleaning and bead blasting the plates.

Reassemble your unit. Run a output test. If test ok then no worries.

Bead-blasting will embed tiny bits of glass (or whatever the beads are made of) into your plates. Since glass is an insulator, you might have a very minor decrease in performance, depending how much time was spent treating the plates. I doubt the difference is measurable, just something to think about.
