EFIE OR MAP SENSOR
I am new and confused.
Which is better an efie or map sensor? I have a 08 chevy p/up with a 4.8 v-8. The map sensor that I purchased has 4 wires. yellow for map sensor, red for car computer, black for ground, another black says not used. My problem is red computer, okay where on computer? and yellow for map sensor? Well I am installing a map sensor, is there also one on the vehicle?
Question #2. Is an Efie better and easier than a dual map sensor to hook up in most cases, or the other way around?
I know its probably simple but boy am I confused. Thats nothing new either.
Thanks everybody.

Good question. I have an 08 GMC, and I've read somewhere that an EFIE won't work on AFR (4-wire oxygen sensor). Can anyone shed light on what they did with their 4-wire sensor?

RE: EFIE OR MAP SENSOR
Very simple. Map enhancer should be connected to the MAP sensor.
1.You would connect enhancer ground to Map ground.
2. Find Map sensor signal wire and cut it.
3. Connect enhancer (yellow in your application) to the cut wire leading to Map sensor.
4. Connect enhancer (computer) wire to the cut wire going to the ECU.

ok?
