Exclamation Forced Induction (turbo)
I’m an infant when it comes to everything under the hood. Like most, I have a good brain and can apply it. I own German, so I have a primitive knowledge of the theory of the internal combustion engine (ICE). My German came with a turbo. Since I’m altering the fuel burn, should I be concerned about temperatures exceeding the limits of the turbo? I understand that whole process and the effects of forming a mixture of hydroxygen with petrol and the ambient air, in an ICE, actually lowers the temperature. Do I stand to be corrected? Regardless, I was thinking of adding a pryometer to have for myself, a before HOD, and an HOD reading just to be on the safe side.
