My two concerns are whether 3/16 inch plexiglass will hold up over the long haul, and the other is the fact that it is a sealed unit. Can't take it apart for cleaning. Perhaps that won't be necessary, however.
I guess another potential concern is that it a 5-cell vs 6 or 7. Also, it has .5 inch holes drilled in the top of the divider walls to even out the electrolyte. I wouldn't want current leakage through these dividers while the water is sloshing around.
Otherwise, Eddie seems to know what he's doing. His big booster will run a lawn mower engine without any gasoline. I would take his booster over the Smack or any other parallel design where current can leak.
