HHO in marine engines
Hi! I'm new to this forum and to HHO so please bear with me! I'm interested in applying HHO in marine applications and in all my searching I have never seen a word about it. I have a 40' boat with two 7.4l carubrated chevy engines. I'm running 750cfm edellbroch preformers, no sensors or computers, on paper each engine (I have two) uses 25 gal. per hour full throttle. I'm wondering if HHO and water injection through a Nos plate would help to dramaticlly reduce fuel consuption. I'm thinking that having such a low tech. setup (carbs.) would actually make the install and fine tuning easyer. Dose anyone out there have any experiance with a marine system? Thanks, Jim.

RE: HHO in marine engines
You are absolutely correct. You will have no trouble getting great results with that setup. There will be almost no tuning to do. The only tuning will be to adjust your amperage until you get the best possible gains. I'm going to guess that 25 amps with a good efficient system will be about right. But you'll need to play with it to get the best gains. See this article for more info about that: http://www.fuelsaver-mpg.com/how-much-hho-should-i-use .

We sell a system that could be used on both the engines. Just put a "Y" in the HHO output hose and take one to each engine. Keep the lengths of the 2 hoses from the Y to the engines the same length. That will help ensure that the flow is equal to both engines.

We have a commercial fisherman in Australia who uses one of our system on 2 engines in the same way. He has reported a consistent 35% gain. This is both an example of a nautical application and also using one large commercial system on 2 engines. The system he is using can be found here: http://www.fuelsaver-mpg.com/hydrogen-as...-for-semis

Hey if you are interested in marine engine and you are planning to buy second hand or a used engine just go to the link http://www.hiperformer.com/marine-engines/ and check various marine engines they are supplying. They offer various OEM certified parts besides custom-made, remanufactured and upgraded marine engines and related items.

Hi Gilbert, I have also been referring http://www.automotix.net/engines/marine-engines.html for a friend who is building his own boat. He had been looking around for a Chrysler engine in particular and this link has got it all. Similarly they also provide a warranty and free shipping as well.
