How do I wire my generator to my ignition?
Currently I have my generators wired into my battery, and I want to wire it in so that I can only turn them on when my car's key is in the accessory or the on position. How is the easiest way to do this?

Thanks!

The easiest way is to install a relay or a solenoid on your + and to wire the trigger terminals to your ignition. You will find it by probing the wires that goes to your relay boxes under the hood.

Here is an example of simple wiring... However, I don't recommend things to be done this way.

This is not very safe in a way that you don't want the gas to be produced unless the engine is on. What I suggest is instead of the ignition power you link your relay trigger to the fuel pump sensor or the oil pressure sensor.

You will find some diagrams and specs in here. http://www.panaceauniversity.org/Hydroxy%20Boosters.pdf

Ok, i found a wiring diagram that will work well, but when it says to wire the positive wire to the ignition in the dashboard fuse box to the switch, how exactly do connect the wire to where the fuses are... am I supposed to just shove the wire into the slot where the ignition fuse goes and then push the fuse in on top of that?

Check with your auto parts store where you can get a piggy-back clip to grab power from a fuse block.

Its called "Ad a curcuit"-available at most auto parts stores in the electrical section. . I run a lead wire from the alternator to a 30 amp curcuit breaker then to the relay as in the diagram and use the current tap (ad a curcuit) to power the relay only-that way its only "opening the door" for the heavier current to flow through. From the other side of the relay I go through a 50 amp on-off switch, then through the amp gage, then as a final safety device it goes through a 30 amp fuse. The 30 amp curcuit breaker protects the alternator, the relay protects the ingition system, and the fuse and switch protect the generator from damage. This has worked for me.

"Ad a circuit" sounds familiar. I think there's several different brands with similar functionality.

These add a circuit things are great. Here are pics of my install. I too use the extra circuit to run to a rocker switch in my cab that powers a relay.
