How do you get KOH %
With the KOH being a solid and water liquid what are the proportions of water to the KOH flakes(by volume or by weight?)

RE: How do you get KOH %
This can vary widely. It depends on number of neutral plates and voltage (or plate to plate voltage), distance between the plates, size of the plates, how many amps you want to draw, temperature, and probably a few other things I'm not thinking of right now.

The best way to work out the correct concentration for your particular application is to put a small amount in the reservoir (like 1 tablespoon per quart) and see what you have. Then add more as needed.

Its much easier to add more KOH than to empty your reservoir and start over, so start out with a small amount of KOH.
