Hydrogen Generator on an Explorer
I'm putting a generator on a "99" Ford Explorer with a 5.0 V-8. Not much room under the hood. THis application has a Mass Airflow Sensor. How do I hook up an enhancer to that, and will the 3 wire map sensor type enhancer work? Venturing into new territory! Thanks, Tracy.

Hi Tracy,

Please see A Simple MAF/MAP Enhancer for information on this.

Basically you have to find the signal wire, and then measure it while goosing the engine. If it goes up in voltage (like from .5 at idle to 1.5 or 2 volts at rev) and back down again then you have the type of MAF that will respond to a MAF enhancer.
