IAT or warm air
I'm getting ready to install the IAT mod. Then on another forum I read about this guy who closed off his cold air feed and drilled holes in the bottom of his filter box in order to pick up warm air within the engine compartment. I kinda think this would invite knock but maybe the air doesn't get that hot. I'd like to hear your comments.

RE: IAT or warm air
The recommendation in Tuning for Mileage is a 10 deg F increase in the IAT and CTS sensors, a bit harder to control via your recommendation.

What I like about the resistor mod is it's cheap, adjustable and easily removed, leaving minimal evidence of tampering.
