you have about 11 more connections than you need , = more chances to arc and spark = more chances for a big boom

just use a 4 plate design , 2 pos 2 neg , alternate them , 2 SS bolts , 1 plastic bolt going through all plates at bottom end to keep spaced . use plastic washers in between to keep a 1/8 or so inch spacing. 1st bolt at top going through 2 pos plates , at other side 2nd bolt going through the 2 neg plates. 2 SS nuts to keep contact.
