MAP sensor enhancer schematic?
There is a unit out there that as dual controls (one perset for City/one or Hwy). It also has an On/Off switch to go back to normal if you are not using a HHO generator. Does anyone have a copy of the schematic for this unit? Thanks in advance, Richard

There's one in my Toyota Sensors link.

Thanks...I just checked it out and all I see is the white box with a red X.
Do I use the same size Pot/rist for a MAP sensor as for the MAF sensor you were talking about. I know they are not the same thing.
I have a 7.3 turbo diesel that I want to hook my HHO generator to. It has no MAF or O2 sensors, just a Map and that's the only thing standing in the way of some mileage tests! Wink

Just checked and the link still works and picture is there.

MAP/MAF are usually very similar. Many people just add a 50k pot in series with the sensor.

If you have a Scangauge, be aware this will affect your MPG reading every time you change it. I thought I had fantastic mileage after installing it until I filled up. I leave mine on one setting (about 30%) for that reason.

This is what I see. Could you please email the picture to ***rbdhunter@aol.com***. Thanks....Don't know why it won't appear for me.

Here's a way to lean out your air-fuel mix by tweaking the MAF sensor:

See the upper left portion of this image. (The right side is plans for dual controls, like city, highway.)

Parts needed, small project box, 50k linear 1W potentiometer, 33k 1/4 resistor, small knob, SPDT switch and wire. Parts should be available at your friendly neighborhood Radio Shack store.

Cut your MAF sensor wire (by the sensor under the hood, or by the ECU in your vehicle). Usually this sensor is between the air cleaner and the engine.

Take a 50k pot and connect one end of the pot to the output of your MAF sensor (green wire in diagram), center terminal of the switch goes to the ECU side of that cut wire (black wire in diagram) and the other end of the pot to ground via a 33k.

The pic won't open for me either. I think you missed a few connections above, only one wire to the switch? I will assume the center of the pot goes to the ECU.

Sometimes only two of the 3 Pot connections are used (don't remember when) but in this case I believe all are used. I think he just failed to reiderate earlier instructions above.

Humnn...not sure what you mean? You may not have followed all that we have discussed. Sorry. Please let me know which part of my discription you don't get?

Maf output to to one end of pot. OK

Center terminal of switch to ECU. OK

Other end of pot to ground thru a 33K ? which terminal? most pots I have ever seen have 3.

Where do the other 2 terminals on the switch go?

I could make some assumptions but have not had any luck lately with what other people do.
