POOR RESULTS, STILL LEARNING
Hi folks, its been a while since put my last post, and this is because I spend time trying to calculate and compare all the info that my TERO DRY CELL give me and the results are:

My 1995 Dodge Ram 2500 gain power and run more smooth ( my pickup allways make a pinging noise when accelerate, this due to a poor quality of the gas in my country (Mexico), but when I put the dry cell say goodbye to that problem).
This are some specs.
1: My dry cell configuration gives me 2.52V per plate, is a 16 plate
-nnnn+nnnn-nnnn+ 3.5x5.5 active area.

2: Using 30 (yes I now) teaspoons of Baking Soda whit 250ml of vinegar in 2L of distilled water and drop me 1Lpm whit 11amps at 12.6V.

3:I stop using a map enhancer in combination whit an efie device (the engine loose power) and the efie is set to 200mv, the readings goes from .350mv to 980mv when running for about 1/2 hour.

And here are come some questions:

1:Why I cannot make my dry cell pull more amps. and consequently more production? is a huge amount of Baking Soda pulled in dont you think?

2:Its due to the config. of the dry cell?

I hope you spend a happy Christmas day and excellent new year to all of you in this forum, and thanks for all the support give it to me

Hey Freddy,
One thing you might try is to change your electrolyte solution. I've found that the baking soda is nothing but a problem. Even if you can get good production you usually have a mess to deal with in your booster that you have to clean out all the time.
Try this link for using Naoh or KoH, order it online.
Naoh or Koh

Good Luck!

I have to agree with RealtyRoy on the electrolite. I use Koh and haven't had a problem with getting the amps and no mess to clean up.

Also, soda is known to make parts rust more than KOh or NaOh.

What size o-rings are you using in the Tero (ie. what is your plate spacing)?

My plate spacing is 1/16 made from plastic used in cooling rooms, it works pretty well.

Send you a photos of the cell mounted in my pickup

Freddy:

That's a good looking cell and a professional job of mounting. Get rid of that baking soda and try the NaOH. If you have a Lowes nearby they call it Roebic. It'll make a world of difference. Good luck; keep us posted.

clean out the cell w/distilled water and use that for and with lye.but before you start just run it with dis/water at a high amp for a few hours to clean it out then rinse again add lye and be ready for a big difference.

Ok, I found a Roebic product but is in liquid form, and found a bag of sosa caustic 100% pure in scams, big scams!!, so, how can I measure any of this products to obtain a good amp draw.
I guest the Roebic is diluted in water, and perhaps does not represent to much problem to make a mix.
But whit sosa caustic, the scams are big (about 1/4 inch) and make a test if they dilute in water, and they don't dilute fast, (about 20 minutes) to dilute. Any advice about this is gonna be appreciate, thanks.
