I was wondering if anyone here has used this simple modification for ICE cylinder heads...

I have read on other automotive forums that the mods really do work and actually boosts MPGs.

I am not sure just what modifications are needed. What is the cost? Sounds like you need to take the heads off. Sounds like it doesn't work on 6/8 cyl cars.

It requires cutting grooves in the Cylinder head. There are pictures of what others have done with their heads under Testing.

And it does work on all ICEs apparently, regardless of how many cylinders. I've done some R&D searching other performance/racing sites and people say it works great.

The cost? Well if you're a Mechanic like I am then its nothing but your own time and a Head gasket/Valve grind gasket set and the cost to re-deck the head(s).

I'm presently in the Process of rebuilding the Engine for an 86 Toyota Cressida so I may try to do this mod.
