Staff gain from Google-Facebook talent rivalry
Every Google employee gets a ten percent raise in 2011, based on an announcement the business made last week. On top of the salary increase, all Google staffers are getting a holiday bonus of $1,000. Tech insiders say the Google raise and bonus is a try to fight off worker defections to Google rivals for instance Facebook. Article source: Google raise an attempt to fend off talent raids from rivals by Personal Money Store.

$1 billion boost for Google staff

The Google boost, effective Jan. 1, 2011, has been offered across the board to every one of the company's 23,331 workers. So that personnel get a nice round number, Google is paying the $1,000 holiday bonus taxes. According to Company Insider, the raises could cost the business $1 billion a year. The $1,000 holiday bonuses will cost a lot too. About $20 million could be spent by Google. Anybody who doesn’t work for Google may need some other help for Christmas. Luckily, a personal installment loan</a> and payday loans online are accessible to us.

Google leader terminated

The Google raise is a response from the company to fight off a talent drain as rapidly growing opponents aggressively approach top Google employees. Google dismissed the employee who leaked the news though. That worker may have to get through the holidays by borrowing cash now. A business that is losing lots of ability at the top probably should not have dismissed a Google employee for releasing data that others seeking to be a Google worker should know. CNN accounts that in the past few weeks, Google lost such top guns as YouTube co-founder Chad Hurley, AdMob co-founder Omar Hamoui and Google Maps and Wave creator Lars Rasmussen.

Google getting beat by Facebook

It seems like Facebook is trying to sabotage Google. It has been taking many of the top employees. Previous chief of sales and operations at Google, Sheryl Sandberg, is now the right hand woman to Mark Zuckerberg. Bret Taylor used to be a product manager at Google. Now he is a chief Facebook technology officer. Google was a past employer for 300 of the 1,900 Facebook personnel listed on Linkedln. This company competes with Google as well. That's about 15 percent of Facebook's staff of about 2,000.
