The mystery saver...
Check this out. It works well apparently and gives about 20% in gains of millage. The maker does not want to tell me how it works.

He just said: "Our system has two basic functions, to remove carbon deposits from inside your engine and to assist in breaking up hydrocarbon molecules in your fuel for a more efficient burn." then he said "The unit connects to 7 points on your engine as you can see at http://www.elcfuel.com exactly how the electronics work is proprietary information, keep in mind that although you are not in America your unit still carries a return guarantee. No questions asked."

Anyone has any idea of how this thing works it out?

No idea how it works but they are very keen to sell their product. There are two 'Purchase today' buttons on their menu.

Well, at first glance, all the wires appear to connect to things that are already grounded so it must fluff your engines aura or something else magical like that.Hmm

I wouldn't waste my time.

One user from this forum has one installed since a little while and it seems to work good for him. Have a look in the results section.

I can't pm him for some reasons.. Maybe Rick you can get his email to ask him how things are going for him eventually.

No luck. Three posts, last one 09-07-2008 and no contact information.

Looks like a spam post... post a link, say some nice things about the device, then split leaving no contact information.

RE: The mystery saver...
Breaking up hydrocarbon molecules prior to combustion? The size and structure of gasoline's hydrocarbon molecules is part of why it makes such a great fuel Shocked In breaking up the molecules (read as "oxidizing"), the energy of combustion is released and used to power your car. Breaking them up into smaller hydrocarbons prior to combustion in the cylinder head yields less energy-dense molecules. Less energy-dense molecules makes baby Jesus cry Sad

EDIT: After looking at that "wiring diagram" they provide, I'm betting 5 bucks that the only thing it's designed to do is light up the little LEDs on the box. The red wire is the power wire in series with the parallel LED circuits on each of the yellow leads. By the looks of it, what they've managed to do is to build [and market] a 6-channel ground checker. I'll make y'all a deal. Send me 100 bucks... that's right, almost 50% LESS than what ELC wants... and I'll send you this awesome magic box I call a "cheap-o AutoPride Multimeter" that can do what an ELC does AND MORE! Big Grin

'NUTHER EDIT: I just saw the bit where the promise full refunds "less shipping costs." Who here besides me believes the shipping costs equal out to more than they ELC costs to manufacter? They rape you with a product they know won't work as advertised, allow you to return it but keep some of your money anyway, then probably don't even have the decency to call you the next day... the nerve of some people.
