Gary Wrote:...I'd be tempted to go to the ottoparts sto' and get me a $30.00 AFR gauge and sensor tip. May not be as accurate (we're not racing anyway), but as a general guide may suffice for comparisons.

That's about what I did... bought a used air-fuel meter on fleeBay for about $40 and welded a bung on the exhaust and added a narrow band o2 sensor to run the meter. Cost roughly about $100 total.

rekline: why do you keep quoting posts without any comments? I've always wondered why some guys do that.

Glad to meet you gary, I don't even know how to make a post correctly on this forum... how am i ever gonna figure out this afr deal. I'm the new guy so I'll try to shut up & just read. sorry!
thanks for fixing the post rick. or was that rick just quoting gary that he had fixed the other ricks post, that is the new ricks post not the moderator ricks post.

Mike

2005 Pontiac Vibe
1.8L corolla engine engine code 1ZZ-GE

Present goal = 100% control of sensor chain on EFI
Simple Combustion enhancements at present = Fuel heat exchanger, water vapor vacuum injection
once I can prove 100% control of sensors, then back to HHO
