Using the narrow band sensors only on a dual wide band efie
Hi guys,
I have a dual wide band efie (fuel-saver). now realizing i bought the wrong one and have 1 narrow band upstram and 1 narrow band down.
can i just use the narrow band terminals or will they output the same voltage.

also do you have to hook up the downstream sensor?

Thanks
Vince

You can certainly use the narrow band terminal. It would be best to use it on your upstream sensor. But what you should do is send it back and get it exchanged for the narrow band version. That way you can treat both sensors. Hooking up the downstream sensor is not necessary in all cases. But it is necessary on enough cars that we recommend always doing it.
