Question What is need to optimize the performance.
So i just got in to the HHO game about 2mo ago and have not paid for or made a unit yet. The reason for that is i want to make it right the first time and not have to do much on the testing side. So what i have done is made a list of ?? i still need answered and if any of you could help me with that, that would be great.

1. What type of mapping unit is required to control the ECU and Y????

2.What is the minimum amount of HHO gas need to maximize the fuel efficiency of a certain size engine?

3.What can be used to maximize the amount of gas produced such as NaOH or any other components????

4.What are the benefits of use a PWM (pulse width modulator)?

5.Has any one had time to use a AquaPluse?????

ok. i'll give it a shot. i am curious what you learn, as i also have a boat; sbc 350 with q-jet, in my 24' formula; she is also a real pig on gas.

are your motors fuel injected or carburated?

1. ???

2. a LOT but you dont want to burn up your alternator?? but join the yahoo groups 'hydroxy', and 'watercar' and browse the files sections. TONS of stuff.

3. see above

4. most people use pulse width modulation to limit current as the cell heats up. maybe (?) some are using it to increase efficiency (?) if the frequency of the pulses is around 20 khz.

5. dont know

good luck

Great reply

My suggestion is to do your research. Most all of you questions have been answered many times over here and on other threads. Most posters are reluctant to answer questions that have been covered many times before and can be accessed by a simple search.

Don't know about the PWM game....I would imagine you could get just as good results by just building a good efficient series cell.

That's a good way to not get help. Give it some time.
