Which dry cell to buy?
I am looking at getting one of these tomorrow.
Has anyone bought from these folks, or know someone who has? Are these generators reliable ?

RE: Which dry cell to buy?
1) The 11 plate dry cell kit from http://www.hho2u.com is the one I have chosen. It has the best circulation and is precision cut with a laser. It has the configuration: -nnnn+nnnn- It will produce 1.5 lpm at less than 20 amps. I highly recommend it. I just brought 2 more.

2) The 9 plate dry cell kit from http://www.hydroclubusa.com does not have the circulation and will probably exhibit a pumping action. It has the configuration -nnn+nnn- and would get pretty hot at 30 amps.

3) The 14 plate dry cell kit from http://www.vdaenergy.com is an interesting design but I cannot tell it's flow diagram from the fotos. One major drawback I see is it's configuration: -nn+nn- and would get even hotter. They are showing it at 11.7 volts at 17 amps - 30 secs - 500 ml and 115F. That would allow it to produce 1 lpm.

Consider the electrical environment you would operate at: 12-13.8 volts in a car with alternator. Now look at the configurations: 1) -nnnn+ is 5 cells: 12volts/5 = 2.4 volts/cell 2) -nnn+ is 4 cells: 12volts/4 = 3 volts/cell 3) -nn+ is 3 cells: 12volts/3 = 4 volts/cell.

Ok I stop me critique, hope it is thought provoking and helpful to you.
