ambiguous statement re: 4 wire HEGO
Mike,
after reading about different number wire oxy sensors I got
confused .I have 2000 toyota 3.4L w/HEGO.
does this mean it will have a 4 wire system only and does this mean an efie will be worthless ?
or does it mean a 4 wire HEGO system does NOT need an efie? doesn't clarify .
appreciate your answer !
will post results .
cheers!Smile

RE: ambiguous statement re: 4 wire HEGO
An EFIE will work with a 4 wire HEGO. And, a HEGO needs an EFIE. The EFIE doesn't work with a 4 wire AFR sensor, which is a different beast altogether.
