aspirated 1980 TR8 HHO timing question
This is a question not related to efei.

I have a 1980 aspirated TR8 with a webber 4BBL. it sports a MSD 6A cap discharge ignition, a high lift cam, headers, and a mallory dizzy. The mallory does not have a vacuum advance/retard. and the timing is set at 10 degrees at idle (600) 8 degrees static.

this works well with low octane gas as the centrifugal advance kicks in on the acceleration and makes for awesome sound when downshifting.

I have a 6" 32 plate dry cell ready to install 2+ L/m.

BUT the question is "with HHO so volatile, and such an extreme advance, when adding HHO to the system should the advance be retarded to compensate and prevent firing through carb when the intake valves open early on the exhaust overlap?"

if yes what is recommended to compensate?
