brushlesss ducted fan as supercharger
my 1.4 engine at idle suck in 24cfm of air and 150cfm at 6000rpm

the air that is sucked into the combustion chambers is below atmospheric pressure and therefore has less oxygen.

brushless ducted fans can do between 300 - 1200 cfm of air which can easily oversupply my engine and many others with air

i have read that these fans are not good for psi creation so unlike a turbo no boost is created.

but they could mean that the air entering an engine is more dense as it is not under a vacum.

this could equate to power gains

thoughts?

If it gets more air into your engine, it will raise horsepower. Although, the ECU will meter in more gas proportionately. So it won't reduce fuel costs.
