fan off a PC to run off a cell phone charger
Can it be done? Im looking for a small fan to run with my gen for cooling. Got a reg. truck cab fan but its to big and pull to much power.

I think it's a good idea now that you mention it. The fan doesn't HAVE to be powered with a cell phone charger. You can just use two wires to power the fan and splice them to the power and ground for the generator. This way, the fan will be on whenever the generator is on, and as far as I know, they draw neglable voltage? Someone lte me know if I'm wrong though, because I'm interested in this technique as well!

-DNX exhaust
-Injen Short-Ram Intake (SRI)

There is a better way to cool the dry-cell and keep the current steady if anyone is still interested.
