interior lighiting
I have a 96 GMC 2500 and I am looking for easy access to the interior lighting in order to add courtesy lights under the dash which will come on when the dome light is on. Where is an easy connection location?

Use a "check light" (you know, the one with a sharp tip, a bulb in the middle and an alligator clip on a wire at the end for a ground) to find a "hot" connection at the fuse box. Connect your under dash hot wire (fused) to this fuse box connection and the ground to the ground door switch for the driver's door. If you look at a diagram of the fuse box bet you see a "dome" lite fuse.
