tuning for mileage concern!b
HI all, I am a little concerned about the tuning for mileage info and how this would affect my car;s operation. Seems to me that altering the map sensor, maf sensor, cts sensor etc, would be harmful to the engine. Who out there has really ever tried this for any length of time and had success? I seems to me to be a quick fix that does not consider long term effects. Comments? JP

Good point- I think all these sensors are for pollution control. I don't see any engine damage, but I could see cat burn-out due to inability to control the various gases, i.e., NOx goes up.

I personally am not worried about it. To me it's worth whatever risk is there.
