Wink useing HHO on old ford 350 truck( one ton )
I use the old truck and get a sweet 8.5 mpgSad
dont seem to care what its hauling
have a 460 , four barrel.
has any one come up with a way to lean one out on the fly( much like a small aircraft dose)
also does anyone how where I can get a half way cheap EGT setup.
Im in the test mode on a 97 GMC 1/2 ton with a 350. Ill let you how how i get along with it. using a smacker pulling 11 amps hot and a offset on O2 sensor. So far she got more power. Not run the nuber for a good mpg yet.
Later and thanks
Dont think outside the box, toss it away and go for something they say cant be doneSmile

Hi Fatman1, there was a post here of a man that had a v10 doing 8.3 MPG... He went through the process and got 12+ MPG. He was pretty excited to say the least.

I found the link it was a v10 ford van and here it is...

I hope that gives you an idea.

You could lean out the carb with less fluid in the carb bowl. That alone will help without hho. I have done this myself so it's not a rumor for me..

I hope that helps some at least...

If you want to increase your mileage with an electrolyzer on a carburetor try the Eagle Research Carb enhancer. It's what you are looking for. A good price too, one is the book, and one is the kit with the parts.

go to "Store" and it will be listed.

Thanks GuysSmile
Im running kind of a smack on my 97 gmc with a offset O2. But in 84 dont think they had one on it. Its got what looks like a 650 or better fomoco carb. I run it pretty hard and am trying my hand at building a flat plate style that will give me 2 lmp (everyone has a dream right)put I need to lean it out on the run as 2lmp be a bit much idling around in the feilds but will help alot on the road. I got 9% better fuel on the 97 and how I got it off tweeking it some.it a 8 plate +-+-+-+- set up going try with a few n in the middle. Would like to fiuger out a way to do a mix change as I drive on the 1 ton, like used in small acft. with a egt to show temp change. Working on a manfoil pressure setup also, it looks good on paper LOL
Thanks for your help and everythingSmile

This guy claims a 30% gain with the same engine:
