water and gas
I read over here
http://www.scribd.com/doc/4559266/Carbur...-Rsch-15pp

that if u mix 50% gas with 50% water plus a little soap in the washing machine, you will create a usable mixture.

I've never heard of such a thing before, but it's listed among other working ideas, (such as a small propellor in the intake to create a vortex, some steelwool in the manifold of a carb car for better gas/air mixing,etc.etc.)

anyone have info on this??

RE: water and gas
You can always try it out and report back. You may want to use a lawn mower engine or some other small internal combustion engine on it's last legs so you're not out much money if it fails.

I made an attempt on E85, water and acetone. The 15% Benzinin E85 floated on top. It was not bound by the acetone. Hand soap or hand-dishwasher that does not integrate the gasoline.
Then I calculated the statements from the patent of Mr. Gunnermann:
Stoich-Verh. Water Fuel E85 Patent Size
14.7 ....................0,115........gasoline
9 ........................0,027 0.18 E85
9 ................0,065 0,115...... Gunnerman 36% of water
5 ................0,185 0,115 ......Gunnerman 62% of water
3 ................0,349 0,115 ......Gunnerman 77% of water
The amount of fuel is the same, but the mix air/fuel is changing. That will need a different engine settings. Stoich 9 instead of 14.7 is the flexfuel-settings!

But closed in a forum they have:
Useful diesel-water emulsion is ready.13% water should be run without any problems. If it's more to be, You are walking tracks of Gunnermans and have nickel onto the piston in the cylinder head or have.
The bottle contains approximately 20% ionic and nonionic surfactants. Machine dishwashing liquid does not foam, as opposed to Pril or soap. What the rest is in the bottle? Water? Have about 5% of bottle contents mixed. Ok. goes, then another 20% water to it. Nothing separates. Can take, of course, oil. The same as diesel.

Used to do it when I was a kid. Your 50/50 + a little soap doesn't work. If you want to play start with some gasoline, add either a dry phosphate detergent or a liquid detergent and you will get a gel, almost like napalm. now start adding water to your gel. If you add too much every thing separates; if you don't add enough it's too thick. The goo you get will burn but not well. I'm sure it won't run an ICE. The FCC did extensive testing on those vortex devices you buy for $79.99 and put in your air intake plenum and found out they don't work. Like P.T. Barnum said there's a fool born every minute.
